I found that more and more people, especially children and teenager, in the world suffered from short sight. Although the world seen by people who are shortsighted can be different and mysterious, nearsightedness really affects our daily life a lot and bothers me a lot. Since the feeling of try to see something clearly but can’t makes me sense impotent. So I prefer to make a project about a nearsightedness world. I present the world through different films that nearsightedness see those different and blurry parts to inspire me of textile. And i use my sight medical report to establish silhouette.

I am a person who really love to drink tea, and I often hear people asking the question that do you love to drink tea or coffee. I discover that a kind method of making tea, Chabaixi, looks similar to the Latte Art, so I want to compare the similarities and differences between tea and coffee in this project. One of my favorite part of this project is that I make some Chabaixi while researching. This project provides me with an opportunity to try another kind of art, Chabaixi. The second favorite part is draping. In this process, I did research on the clothes in Song dynasty when tea flourished, and the clothes in the twentieth century in Europe.

When a kite is flying, there is a string behind it that restricts. But when the string breaks, the kite falls. The relationship between the kite and the string is similar to the relationship between children and parents for me--parents limit and protect children at the same time. I hope to express these complex emotions through this work.I drew a painting to express the free world in my mind and projected it onto the wall. The window frame in front of the painting expressed the obstacles between freedom and us. My kite was made by bamboo sticks, some used draft papers which represents my efforts and the shape of the sand gull outside world. The woven ropes showed the complex relationship and emotions. The handmade bear represented the support of parents, cause teddy bear reminds me with home. On the whole, the bear restricts the gull to the outside world, but also prevents him from getting involved in the vortex.

When building a true friendship, it's all about getting acquainted and opening your heart. And some people will build walls in their hearts to avoid some harm because of their own experiences. Others will ignite themselves and warm others. The ice blocks have built fortresses and high walls, and the heart is frozen in the middle, which I presented with pink crystal. Candles are lit, burning the wax of sincerity which is just like the crystal, and use daily details such as sharing snacks, holding hands, and ordering bubble tea to warm others.
