服装设计专业以时尚设计师为职业导向，学生将会在时尚设计的各个方面得到系统训练，包括草图，创造性设计，电脑应用，打褶皱，服装结构等，并学会如何利用图版和T台来表达设计师的设计理念。
原创设计对产品生命力的重要性越来越强，对于服饰的要求更多的是追求时尚与美，拥有独特设计理念，对时尚有一定敏感度，能够进行原创设计的服装设计师十分紧缺。
