项目1-URBAN ORPHAN
The inspiration for this project comes from mexperiences while taking taxis. Many of the ridesharing drivers l encountered were facing difficultie!in large cities. They struggled to understand the cityand the city found embracing them challenging. I want to present the current situation of ride-sharin!drivers in the city from an objective perspectivenspired by the “typology” photography vused the “vehicle” as a starting point to create :Idocumtion of the city. This project isvisuaa visual record of a specific social group and anobservational experiment I documented these drivers and compiled a recor!Amidst the overwhelming sea of data, individuaconsciousnesses were engulfed, becoming part oame proofa massive svstem wnie tnis archiveof their presence, preserving their traces. Furthermore, l chose three drivers as prototypesand created an animation that combines paintin.and imagery. They hold three entirely differenattitudes toward the city and providifferenanswers to the question, “Where are they from, anwhere are they going?" The three of them are alscthe epitome of the vast driver community..Throughthis animation, l aim to depict their most genuinedisconnection from the city.
项目2-The Body Keeps the score
The theme was taken from a psychology book about PTSD titled “The Body Keeps the Score.I often get asked: "Why can't you ride a bicycle?" Due to the experience of falling and being injured as achild, my body has developed a conditioned fear of bicycles I asked my family and friends and discovered that some had similar experiences: seemingly ordinanbjects that appear perfectly normal to others can cause them invisible harm. Scars on their skin anmemories buried deep in their minds become the sources of their nightmares, l interviewed thesetraumatized survivors and collected their stories. l also learned more about the origins of bodily stressfrom the book. The proiect's output consists of two parts: the first part is a graphic that combines scars and backgrounestories: it simulates the action of tattooing and recreates the “injured" condition as closely as possiblein the form of needlepoint drawings, the second part is a series of tattoo designs derived from painsensation simulations. Trauma is not just a scar or an experience, it's also a genuine feeling. Finally, l invited these traumatized survivors to film a video where they told their own stories: the patterirepresenting memories gradually appeared on their skin. When they peeled back the tattoo paper, thebeautiful designs were revealed. And these patterns were formed by the courage to confront the past.
项目3-The Peach Blossom Spring
Peach Blossom Spring is a legendary secluded paradise in chinese folklore, symbolizing an idealized new world. Inthis project, I aim to build a free and uniquely immsed on the audio-visual synesthesia experience.lve shace o2understanding the world, we often continue the definitions gors or assign meaning based orOy our nredecessexperience, sometimes neglecting our personal experiences, Only after shedding the constraints of vision will thetremendous vitality of our other senses burst forth, and an entirely new experience will expand a complex environmentinto a broader space, From ancient times to the present, people's continuous pursuit of the Peach Blossom Spring is acontinual quest for beauty and exploration of beaut I used my innate sensory abilities, recorded my walking path in the specific space of the park through audio recordingand recreated the scenes in the park relying on my hearing T'he realistically photographed park is combined with a synesthetic painting of an alternate reality in myAuditory exploration takes place, while yisual elements become abstract, "The pure, natural sounds retain their inherentasing the world's primal vitality
