项目1-A Journey Through Vertebrate Transformation
This project stems from my deep observation of fossils, particularly reflecting on the significant role of vertebrates in biological evolution. Each fossil seems to be a time imprint left by nature, carrying with it the story of billions of years of life's evolution. As I closely examined these ancient remnants, I could almost feel the profound changes that occurred during the transformation process, from simple to complex. The evolution of vertebrates is especially fascinating, as their skeletal structures bear witness to countless changes in species adapting to environmental and survival challenges. Therefore, I chose to use calcium carbonate material to recreate the skeletal structure of vertebrates as a medium to showcase the long and complex journey of life's evolution on Earth. This calcium carbonate material can be applied to reduce the materials used in the production of museum exhibits.
项目2-Nature Therapy
Technological progress in modern society has brought convenience, but it has also distanced us from nature. I'm exploring how design can foster a deeper connection between people and the natural world, inspired by nature's regenerative power.
项目3-Visionary Tension
This project is personal to me, inspired by observing the effects of eye diseases on friends and family. These conditions not only cause vision decline but also tension in the eye muscles, affecting posture and facial expressions. I wanted to explore how design could highlight these overlooked struggles, raising awareness of both the physical and emotional impacts of eye diseases.
项目4-Emotional Eating Disorders
This project stems from my focus on emotional eating disorders, a growing yet often overlooked mental health issue. Through discussions with doctors, I learned that patients with these disorders respond intensely to processed foods, especially those high in sugar and oil, which can harm bodily organs.
